TVA has 2 dams in Georgia: Blue Ridge and Nottely. On April 17, 2004, we
did a "mini-quest", braving the traffic up GA 20 through
Cumming (it would have been quicker to go around to I-75 to I-575 and GA
5... then maybe not!) to GA 372 to GA 5 to Blue Ridge (the dam is right
next to the town). There is a road over the dam, but it was closed (for
contruction, not because of 9/11 this time). But we still got some good
shots. Then we followed GA 515/US 76 up to GA 325, which crosses Nottely
Dam (that road is open). These both turned out to be interesting dams!
